Beautiful bespoke biscuits

Beautiful bespoke biscuits

My eldest son has just turned four and demanded - in no uncertain terms - a pirate party. Instead of sending kids home with a plastic party bag full of plastic crap (at least one of them complained that they’d prefer the plastic crap…sigh), I bought them each a pirate/sea-themed book and commissioned the wonderful Biscuits by Sarah B to make 20 pirate biscuits.

I was delighted with the results - as were the kids. The biscuits came beautifully packaged, and unlike some well-known boutique biscuit brands, Sarah’s taste as good as they look. They are light, crumbly and delicious. She also offers gluten-free biscuits which she makes with a tried and tested blend of rice, potato, tapioca, maize and buckwheat flours.

Sarah works from Southbourne, Dorset and is celebrating her fifth year of business. As well as designing, baking and decorating biscuits for special occasions, she also offers biscuit decorating parties and classes for children and adults. The next one is a 2-hour Valentine’s Biscuit Decorating Class - one at The Bunker Cafe and Bar on 11th February and one at Cliff House Hotel on 13th February. The class includes tuition, refreshments and six stunning biscuits to take away. Online booking is essential.
